Advice:

Study hard in calculus, it can often carry you in other classes. Reading section 3.7 of "Calculus - J. Stewart Sixth Edition" is a good way to understand how calculus is embedded within all social + physical sciences.

Mathematics isn't about memorizing formulas and functions. Always try to derive what you learn and see the logic within each formula to better comprehend what's going on.
